Baltic birch is a beautiful and strong species of wood chosen for the core of our cabinetry. Known for its remarkable strength, durability, and natural character, it allows us to create cabinetry designed to live beautifully in your home for years to come. Modern mass-produced 'luxury' cabinetry is most commonly produced as an Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) core, with a plastic veneer layered over it. We are proud to only work with real wood and lumber. Real wood is lighter, more durable to everyday wear, and provides a real upgrade in your home rather then what you could get at a retail store. Baltic birch offers exceptional structural integrity, impact resistance, and resilience to everyday life. MDF is extremely susceptible to any form of moisture, has poor structural integrity, brittle corners, and a construction which makes it almost impossible to repair. With a saw dust core, and a plastic veneer prone to peeling, MDF can be damaged from even the smallest, minor accidents. We understand accidents happen, which is why we believe Baltic birch is the most suitable wood for everyday living.
